Kim Thitisan Goodburn from Thailand is currently facing a precarious situation as some nude images, believed to be of him, are circulating on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.
The actor/ model looks visibly young in the alleged photos and is taken seemingly from inside a tiled bathroom. In the alleged nude photos, the 24-year-old Thai-British model and actor, is wearing a blue soccer jersey with yellow and white trims. From the angle of the photograph, it can be interpreted that the photos were probably taken by Kim himself via selfies.
Incidents like this underscore the importance of privacy and digital security, which should be understood by everyone. Safeguarding privacy on social media and exercising responsible internet usage are integral parts of fostering a safer and more ethical online world. It is also advised to take personal precaution and not place yourself in a position where your reputation can be tainted by an error of personal judgement.
In a digital world, past mistakes can always resurface in the most inopportune time.
The source of the leaked photos has remained mysterious, and the public has only had access to a small amount of information. It is only a handful of people (reasonably pageant aficionados ) who are aware of the existence of the photos and there is no press statement or acknowledgement of the Thai-based Mister International organization on the matter.
He is not the only male pageant king from his batch that has a scandal. Mister International Japan, Kouki Sakata, who also competed at the Mister International pageant in Thailand, has recently been tagged to have allegedly performed in an adult film/s circulating in the internet. The 29 year old Japanese entrepreneur and television staff is seen with shaved eyebrows while performing sexual acts onscreen.
Personally, these are some of the reasons why the male pageant industry is not taken seriously by the pageant fandom/pageant community. There have been too many male pageant winners and candidates whose careers have veered towards the adult entertainment industry (from stripping to escorting to adult film performing).
While we do not judge the men (or even women for that matter) whose career trajectory has led them to that industry, we do acknowledge the negative perception it casts on the male pageant industry. We only fervently hope that opportunities for commercial careers would be available to them after their male pageant careers are over.
