Interview with Binibini #1 Dane Felise Marasigan Pt.2

We continue the two-part special with Binibini #1 Dane Felise Marasigan’s exclusive interview with Sashes&Scripts.

5. Who is/ are the role model/s you look up to and why?
One of my role models is Michelle Obama. She is a strong and brave woman who empowers people especially the youth. She reminds us that it doesn’t matter where you come from or what the color of your skin is, what’s important is the content of your character. If you believe in yourself then anything is possible.
6. What do you think is the relevance of the Binibining Pilipinas pageant in this day and age?
Binibining pilipinas pageant is our platform to bring awareness on the issues we truly care about in a global scale. This will help us reach many people and motivate them to help us fulfill our advocacy. Furthermore, it brings happiness and pride to every country.

7. What was the most difficult part of your training for the pageant?
Joining a pageant is never easy. It’s not all glitz and glam as most people would think. The greatest challenge would be not letting self-doubt get the best of me. No one puts you down more but your own self. Doubting oneself put an even bigger strain on trainings. It is in believing in oneself that we can truly perform our best and let our winning personality shines through.
8. What is your message to your fans and ask for support in the coming competition.
Thank you for your unwavering support and i hope you will continue to support me in my journey to a Binibining Pilipinas crown. Please follow the binibining pilipinas page and vote/share my photos/video to your friends and family. Thank you.
She may be one of the underrated girls in this year’s competition yet she still manages to charm people with her ever smiling persona. With interviews and personality getting a heavier weight this year, we might see just a surprise with Dane come finals…
